The theme for the contest this week is the desert.
You must create something influenced or derived from the desert.

It could be an awesome desert drawing, or an awesome desert song.
It can even be you telling us a story about that one time you were in the desert and it was awesome...

Just create something awesome. That is how you win.
You may post your submission here. The deadline is midnight 8/25/08

Void where prohibited or restricted by law. No purchase necessary. The Contest is open to You if You are at least the legal age of majority for entering into contracts in the country in which You reside ("Legal Age"). If You are younger than the applicable Legal Age, but are at least 13 years of age, You may enter into the Contest on the condition that Your parent or legal guardian approves such participation and follows the instructions found on the Website for sending their approval to the Sponsor. In 1999 I submitted a poem (a notebook roughdraft) that is about the desert to Spin magazine. I won the contest and they posted the desert poem on the back page along with my school photo that features me in one of my favorite desert shirts. I was also wearing a desert hemp necklace. Is this desert enough for you? I sure hope so. Since this is my submission to this week's contest.
Sham bam.
Bamana.

Deep in the belly of the Kalahari desert an Elephant marching band performs Pink Floyd's greatest hits while blowing minds with there amazing yoyo maneuvers. Before the show everyone in the audience was handed night vision goggles. it was quite surreal. you should have been there.
